Basic Information & Transportation
Situated in North Kent, Cobham Hall has a rural setting with excellent road, rail and air links. Be it Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow or London City Airport, it is all accessible in one hour.
Serving girls aged 11 to 18, Cobham Hall provides students with world class education and extensive 150 acres grounds. It is also the first all-girls school to be associated with Round Square, the well-known international educational network.
Academic Development
Associating with Round Square, Cobham Hall shares the same spirits by stressing the importance of internationalism, democracy, environmentalism, adventure, leadership and service. Girls are encouraged to be young women with confidence and ambition.
Cobham Hall aims to offer a wide range of subjects in GCSE, IGCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB) and A Levels. Despite the fact that subjects offered are traditionally academic-oriented rather than vocational, experiential learning is adopted to ensure impressive and fun learning.
In addition, a range of Short Courses is offered. These include One Year GCSE/IGCSE course, an Intensive English Language Support Programme and a short stay/Pre-A Level course.
Pastoral Care & Boarding
All students belong to mixed-age tutor groups within one of four houses. Boarding is on a flexi-basis, day girls are welcome to join full or weekly boarders at anytime. There are three boarding houses, one for Years 7 to 11 and two for the sixth form.
Boarders are involved in choosing their own trips and activities. Two mid-week evening outings in the local area for each term, while the weekends are reserved for bigger outings further afield, plus a chill out Sunday in each term.
Extracurricular & personal development
Benefited by the association with Round Square, students are offered with opportunities of exchanging and attending Regional and International Conferences. Also, they can participate in International Service Projects to experience servicing in developing countries.
Regarding the own enrichment, Cobham Hall’s Saturday Programme is designed to complement the weekday curriculum and support the ethos of learning through experience. Students can choose from skills training, servicing, educational trips, seminars and workshops.
