According to the UK law, international students below 18 must have a third-party guardian. Parents can assign relatives living in the UK to be the student′s guardian, or they can join a guardianship programme organised by agencies with a good reputation.
However, there are 3 conditions to be a guardian:
holding a British passport
above 25 years old (varies according to the regulation of schools)
living in the UK
