Basic Information & Location
Founded in 1879, Chase Grammar School, is a co-educational boarding school located in Cannock, a town near Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK. It is about 40 minutes away from Manchester Airport, 1 hour away from Birmingham Airport and 2.5 hours away from London Heathrow Airport by car. In recognition of music and sport elites, the school provides scholarships that cover up to 20% of the tuition fees.

Academic Matters
Classes in Chase Grammar School are conducted in small sizes with only 15 students in each class so that teachers can take good care of every students. In 2016, around 70% of students received A* to B grade at A-Level exams. The school has set up an International Department, providing intensive English language courses designed by University of Cambridge for necessary students. In order to provide more opportunities for international students to practice English, some of their lessons are held at the main campus with UK students.
Boarding / Pastoral Care
Since a long time ago, Chase Grammar School has been accepting students over the world, so it has experience in educating and taking care of international students. The school understands that students living overseas require sense of security and good care, thus it provides guardianship for them. The school also provides dormitories for international students during their half-term breaks so that they can save travel time between school and host families.
Extracurricular
Chase Grammar School offers a wide range of extracurricular activities. Arts and cultural activities include ballet, dance, drama production, choir and orchestra. Sports include cross-country, track and field, badminton, basketball, cricket, hockey, soccer, swimming, tennis and etc. Certainly, there is also the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award favoured by many UK students.
