Abbotsholme has a 70-acre working farm, an equestrian centre and country estate. Through working with animals or gardening, students have the chance to foster their understanding of the natural world and the environment. The small-scale environment allows every individual to be known and appreciated. All Sixth Form students are supported by their Tutors, Housemasters or Housemistresses, and the Head of Sixth Form to choose the right pathway for maximum academic success.
Extracurricular
Sport plays an essential role in Abbotsholme. During the Sixth Form pupils are encouraged to take on more responsibility for coaching younger members of the Abbotsholme community. Furthermore, sports club from around the UK and Europe visit the school during school holidays to run weekly sport camps to improve students’ skills and unleash their potential.
