School Overview

Royal High School Bath is an all-girls day and boarding school for ages 3 to 18. As part of the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), it focuses on empowering young women through a strong academic foundation and a supportive, nurturing environment. The school combines excellent teaching with high-quality pastoral care, helping girls grow in confidence, independence, and ambition.

While the site reflects its rich heritage, it also offers modern facilities such as a STEAM lab, a recording studio, and a purpose-built boarding house. As students progress through the school, they follow the GCSE curriculum and later choose between A-levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) in the Sixth Form. This flexibility allows them to tailor their studies to their interests and strengths.

Furthermore, the school places strong emphasis on personal development. Pupils take part in a wide range of co-curricular activities, from music and drama to sport and leadership opportunities.
