Academic Development

The school’s teaching and learning environment values both achievement and momentum to succeed, supported by the broad curriculum and commitment to academic, creative, cultural and sporting excellence. It reflects a vibrant and lively community, where children are given space, countless opportunities and support to grow in confidence and to discover their individual talents.

All teachers are specialists in their field and keen to inspire a love of learning in each child, whilst Sixth Form at Reddam House offers a high-quality education in a world-class school with a truly welcoming atmosphere – and a worldwide reputation for excellence.

Pastoral Care & Boarding

Children’s time at school should be happy. The school believes that its vibrant learning environment comes from complementing the academic and co-curricular strengths with the three ‘Rs’ of pastoral care: relationships, respect and responsibility. Reddam House is proud to be a school where each student is valued as a unique individual and receive carefully considered nurture, support and advice at each stage of their school career.

Reddam House offers an exceptional boarding experience with a nurturing atmosphere, ensuring that students aged 8 to 18-years-old feel at home here from their very first day here.

Dedicated boarding staff offer excellent around the clock pastoral care, and personal tutors ensure specialised one-to-one tuition, as well as providing expert guidance through the university application process; over 60% of the school’s boarding students received offers from Russell Group universities.

Extra-curricular & Personal Development

Reddam House Berkshire provides a tremendous range of enrichment activities – art, dance, drama, music, public speaking, and sport – which encourage every child to find something which will enable them to develop the personal qualities, attitudes and skills to complement their academic success.
