Queenswood is a progressive boarding and day school for around 430 girls, aged between 11 and 18. Merely 20 minutes from central London, the stunning Queenswood estate has the advantage of easy access to the cultural richness of the capital.

Academic Matters
Queenswood is adept at raising the academic profile of all its girls. It is a School where group discussion and independent thinking are both encouraged. Students proceed to the best universities both in the UK and abroad to read a wide range of subjects. In recent years, Queenswoodians have been offered place at Oxford and Cambridge to read Natural Sciences and a plethora of subjects in the humanities.
Boarding / Pastoral Care
Boarding at Queenswood offers experienced staff who are committed to nurturing each individual, a balance of privacy and company, a supportive environment where making mistakes is all part of the bigger plan, sensitive, non-judgmental moral guidance, as well as a never-ending supply of confidence-building scenarios.
Extracurricular
Queenswood’s extensive co-curricular programme gives the girls endless opportunities. In Music, Drama, Dance, Sport and many other fields, the girls challenge themselves, work with one another and have great fun. Clubs, team practices and societies are held during lunch hours and after school and include such diverse activities as School Council, English Society, Debating, Photography, Amnesty International and Practical Cookery. All girls are involved in community action and in raising funds for charities. Learning at Queenswood goes well beyond the classroom and girls are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities to build their confidence and leadership skills.
