CEO of Nauticus Education Group and Managing Director of Britannia StudyLink, an experienced education consultant and columnist for various Hong Kong media. He was born in Hong Kong and went to the UK at the age of nine and spent eight years at Gresham’s Preparatory School in Norfolk. Then, he progressed smoothly through the British education system, ending up at the University of Nottingham with a degree in Economics and completing his postgraduate studies at the University of Warwick.
Samuel founded Britannia StudyLink in 2013 with an aim to transform Hong Kong’s overseas education consultancy market. He introduced UKiset to Hong Kong families in 2014 and Atom Learning in 2020. By the end of 2018, every 1 in 3 Hong Kong students studying at a UK Independent School had come through the Britannia channel. The organisation has since become an industry leader, with offices in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shenzhen, Shanghai, London, Bangkok, and Tokyo, connecting families across Asia with access to world‑class education.
Our journey has been recognised by organisations like the Hong Kong Brand Development Council, British Council, and Forbes. He was presented the British Council 2017 Alumni Awards from Dr Andrew Parmley, the former Lord Mayor of London, for his achievements in promoting UK independence and higher education.Currently, Samuel serves as the CEO of Nauticus Education Group, where he aims to bring access to top-tier education to Asia and the Middle East.With Britannia as the group’s core platform, he combines admissions consulting expertise with a broader international network to provide families seeking UK education and related opportunities with comprehensive, forward‑looking support.
