It is considered as the best springboard for students who would like to enter famous universities such as Oxford and Cambridge.

School Motto

The school believes teaching and learning complement each other and it has adopted a rather fun and relaxing teaching method. Teachers guide students with questions to inspire them to think, expand their imagination and critical thinking.

Academic Matters

Classes in Oxford Tutorial College are conducted in small sizes. According to the students learning progress and ability, teachers with rich experience guide them to come up with the best learning methods. Apart from that, the school provides excellent teaching support. Students are assigned to tutors who follow up on their academic progress and report to their parents.

The A-Level programme has received good reviews. Apart from the common two-year A-Level programme, the college also provides a one-year A-Level programme which has a tighter curriculum structure. Students who have good academic results and strong English language skills may consider studying this programme to enter university one year ahead.

Oxford Tutorial College does not have any restrictions on the combination of subjects. The school only advises students to choose the subjects according to their interests and abilities, while considering their higher education path and future careers.

Boarding / Pastoral Care

Students can stay in host families or student dormitories. When they become senior students, they have the opportunities to live in self-catering dorms or semi-detached houses. School staff work hard to create a pleasant environment for living and learning. They are keen to provide advices and assistance. Students who have private or personal issues can talk to student service officers or seek help from them.

To develop students’ all-rounded abilities is the college’s mission, thus various extracurricular activities are organized for students to join after study. Oxford Tutorial College runs a number of clubs, including debating, music, film, law, table tennis and football. Apart from that, the college also holds three social functions each year, including a welcome party at the beginning of semester, Christmas party, and boat trip at the end of term as a gentle file to the academic year.
