My son Sean said he is very happy about his new school, Queen Ethelburga’s College.
All students are polite and friendly. There was no bullying and no foul language at all. He made a lot of new friends within a short time.
Teaching activities are all in small groups. The teachers are very kind and caring, and always willing to help after school time. Even the laboratory helpers are all polite and technically capable.
Teaching facilities and equipment are of advanced standard and all maintained in very good condition. Also he likes the equipment in the gym room and visited it 7 days a week.
The school is so big that it takes 40 minutes’ walking between the classrooms to attend different classes everyday. That’s good physical exercise and keeps him healthy.
Surprising the canteen has a large variety of good quality choices from different countries.
The most worrying issue before he went there was the cool weather in York. Now it should not a problem because he found heaters and air conditioners everywhere.
The whole environmental is unexpectedly good and well exceeded our expectation.
