St. Andrew’s College has been offering students from around the world the opportunity to experience a Cambridge education since 1976. Its central Cambridge location surrounded by the world-famous University colleges. The School provides a broad range of courses available including Pre A-Level, 1 and 2-year GCSE courses and A Levels, offering 12 university foundation courses including Architecture, Engineering and Business.
Academic Development
Over the last 40 years St. Andrew’s College has helped thousands of students enter the United Kingdom’s top universities. 87% of Foundation students progressed to a top 20 UK university. Most of St.Andrew’a College’s students receive more than 3 offers from Russel Group Universities. St. Andrew’s is accredited by NCFE & OFSTED since 1976 and is a highly trusted sponsor on the UKVI system.
Many of our teachers are retired lecturers/professors or PhD graduates from Cambridge University. In 2015, St.Andrew’s College was ranked in the top 200 schools in the UnitedKingdom for A-level results (according to the UK Department for Education School and College Performance Tables).
Pastoral Care & Boarding
St. Andrew’s College owns six of its own residence buildings. Students in each of these residences are looked after by a permanent member of staff who lives on site at the residence in separate accommodation; all the residences are available exclusively to St. Andrew’s College students throughout school term time. The smallest residence is home to eight students, whilst the largest houses 18. This means that they are small, friendly environments for students to live in. The residences offer a safe, comfortable and convenient altertive to homestay accommodation, and they are located near the Station Road and Regent Street sites, such that students living in residence usually walk between their residences and school – though some prefer to live life in the Cambridge way, and cycle.
Extra-curricular & Persol Development
St. Andrew’s College offers a range of options to suit a broad spectrum of interests; students can choose from sports, social, cultural and academic activities. For example: various sports activities including football (join the team and play in the Cambridge University league), basketball, squash etc; various Clubs and Societies including STEM, Student Council, Photography/ Design Club etc; some competition: Termly creative writing competition, Termly photography competitions, Student Commendations, Senior Maths Challenge
