留學生必備煮食神器 — 飛碟機

潮流興Bruno機,唔駛開爐就可以煮到唔同花款菜式。以為「神器」好新潮?其實十幾年前我已經用緊Bruno嘅始祖。

近排去英國school visit,經過宿舍pantry聞到濃濃嘅芝士焗薯味。望真啲,原來有同學用飛碟機烘薯餅,仲要底面加埋芝士一齊烘。烘完之後薯餅表面充滿熱熔芝士,好邪惡!

記得以前學生時代,肚餓起上嚟乜都諗得出。所以飛碟機絕對係我哋留學生煮食神器:快靚正,唔使多功夫,小食、正餐或者甜品都可以一部機搞掂。根據非正式統計,我哋用神器煮過嘅菜式絕不下二十款:三文治、印度薄餅、pizza呢啲係基本。Mac and cheese、窩夫夾煙肉芝士、麥提莎加香蕉片夾麵包、烤鷄、奄列、薯片、Apple strudle toast.......乜都試過。所以話, 用飛碟機煮食先係王道。

有次貪方便,買一大條魚加少少調味就直接擺上去烤。點知條魚熟咗之後癡晒底,成個pantry都係燶味 ,差啲要報銷。最搞笑係 有人聞到燶味以為火燭,跑出來問我煮乜嘢......但飛碟機實在太好用,對唔住其他housemates都係咁話。 

講開又講,以前除咗用飛碟機,我連湯都煲過。記得某個冬天同好兄弟喺宿舍打機,佢無端端話好掛住屋企住家靚湯。我靈機一觸攞咗包雞粉,再加幾片私夥花旗參,開碗熱水,整咗碗DIY「人參雞湯」。佢見我攞住碗湯好開心,以為我真係識煲,結果一飲差啲噴返出嚟。

如果當年我早一步諗到出呢部煮食機,可能今日已經係第二個Jamie Oliver。
